This Manual is published in terms of Section 51 of the Promotion of Access to Information Act, 2000.

The purpose of this Manual is to inform members of the public of the categories of records held by Lebone Marang and Summer and the procedure to request access to such records.

This Manual is also prepared in compliance with the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013.

Request Procedure

A request for access to records must be made in writing to the Information Officer.

The request must:
• Be made using the prescribed PAIA request form
• Provide sufficient detail to identify the record requested
• Provide contact details of the requester
• Specify the form of access required

Fees

A requester may be required to pay a prescribed request fee and access fee as determined by applicable regulations.

The Information Officer will notify the requester if a fee is payable before processing the request.

Grounds for Refusal

Access to certain records may be refused in accordance with PAIA.

Remedies Available
